Acclaimed motorcycle photographer Simon Cudby and leading motorcycle industry creative director Chris Glaspell are pleased to announce Upshift Online, a new adventure/off-road motorcycle digital magazine and website. A dream come true creative endeavor for the duo, Upshift Online is the end result of a year of creative research, development and planning.
Specifically designed as a daily updated website that will feature a monthly digital magazine, Upshift Online will celebrate the community, brotherhood and true adventures of the burgeoning ADV market and culture. Furthermore, Upshift Online will prominently feature OEM motorcycles and technical equipment as well as new products, product reviews, riding tips and travel advice and planning. With a mission to truly illuminate all that is great and unique to the adventure bike culture and community, Upshift Online will incorporate leading edge design and illustrious photography to capture the wide world of the ADV movement.
Through canvassing the ADV industry as well as its key players and influencers, Upshift Online was purposely conceptualized and developed to create a type of collaboration between the OEMs, the aftermarket industry, and the Upshift Online editors themselves to collectively assemble a website and digital magazine to educate, enthuse, and most importantly, excite the entire ADV community.
“The first time I started thinking about this whole project was a year ago in Baja, Mexico while adventure riding with a few close friends,” says Simon Cudby, Upshift Online cofounder. “I got to thinking how cool it would be to actually find a way through words and photos to capture the sense of brotherhood we all shared by riding these amazing motorcycles in such a brilliant environment and setting. Once I got back home, I got together with Chris, one thing led to another, and we knew we were on to something very good. Something that would show the world just how cool this ADV community and lifestyle is. We are very proud to be part of this ADV world and we know there are people all over the world that feel the exact same way we do. Upshift Online is for these people.”
